Ingredient

  • 8 slices of bread

  • 1 medium-sized cucumber, finely chopped
  • 1 medium-sized carrot, grated
  • 4-5 lettuce leaves
  • 4-5 tbsp of mayonnaise or butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder to taste

  • Toaster or grill
  • Knife
  • Bowl
  • Spoon

Method

  1. Take a bowl and add chopped onion, tomato, cucumber and grated carrot. Mix well.
  2. Add salt and black pepper powder to the mix and mix well.
  3. Take a slice of bread and apply mayonnaise or butter on it.
  4. Take a lettuce leaf and place it on the bread slice.
  5. Add 2-3 tbsp of veggie mix on top of the lettuce leaf.
  6. Cover it with another slice of bread.
  7. Repeat the same process for the remaining slices of bread.
  8. Toast or grill the sandwiches until they turn golden brown.
  9. Once done, cut the sandwiches diagonally and serve hot with ketchup or chutney.

Notes

You can add or remove any veggies of your choice. You can also add cheese or paneer to make it more filling.
